摘要	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the interference of a governor rope hitch falling down over a predetermined level with elevator shaft equipment or elevator car equipment when a governor rope is loosened for any reason and further avoid troubles in safety drive in emergency. SOLUTION: When the governor rope 8 is pulled up, a safety is driven to operate via the governor rope hitch 7 and a safety link 6. A bracket 15 is provided on the side of the elevator car 3 for preventing a pull-up force transmission plate 7a for the governor rope hitch 7 from falling down over a predetermined level. The bracket 15 is spaced from the pull-up transmission plate 7a for giving no constraint to the governor rope hitch 7 when the governor rope 8 is not loosened and for constraining the governor rope hitch 7 to suffer predetermined or more turning limitation when the governor rope 8 is loosened.
