PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To escape a restricting roller, arranged near the turning point of a paper discharge driven frame, upward with a sufficient quantity of escape. SOLUTION: The restricting roller 29 is arranged near the end on the upstream side of the paper discharge driven frame 24 for preventing the rubbing of printing paper against a head. A paper discharge driven roller 20b and a paper discharge auxiliary roller 22 are fixed to the paper discharge driven frame 24 in the form of escape upward following the turning of the paper discharge driven frame 24. The restricting roller 29 is axially supported by a restricting roller holder 30 and the restricting roller holder 30 can be turned by a holder turning shaft 31. A sliding portion 32 provided on the restricting roller holder 30 is slidable with the upper face of the paper discharge driven frame 25. The turning of the paper discharge driven frame 25 causes the sliding portion 32 to be slid with the upper face of the paper discharge driven frame 25 and the restricting roller 29 to be escaped upward with a sufficient quantity of escape.
