PURPOSE: A sealing structure of a water pump is provided to reduce noise and improve endurance by forcibly controlling a backlash through forming first and second key slots in a plastic carbon. CONSTITUTION: A water pump sealing structure includes a housing forming an outer appearance of a water pump. A rotating shaft(30) is rotatably installed in the housing. A fixing case(40) is installed at one side of the rotating shaft(30). A pair of protrusions(41) is formed in the fixing case(40) in an angular interval of 180 degrees. A plastic carbon(50) is installed at an outer peripheral portion of the fixing case(40). First and second key slots(51,52) are formed at upper and lower surfaces of the plastic carbon(50). The first and second key slots(51,52) receive the protrusions(41) and have phase angles different from each other.
