PURPOSE: A structure of a hood hinge for absorbing shock for protecting pedestrian is provided to improve a safety by reducing an extent of a cephalic injury of a pedestrian in a collision with a pedestrian. CONSTITUTION: A hinge joint shaft(2) supports a hood. The hinge joint shaft is connected with a hinge top(4) by a hanger. A hinge bracket(5) supporting the hinge joint shaft forms sliding guide holes(6) to slide the hinge shaft. A diameter of a coupling hole(7) in the hinge bracket is formed bigger than a width of the sliding guide hole and is connected each other. If the hinge structure supporting a hood gets an impact energy over a fixed shock, the hinge structure slides to absorb the impact energy and thus, the extent of the cephalic injury of a pedestrian is reduced .
