PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk type recording/reproducing device in which an optical pickup is prevented from being moved to collide with other components due to impact from the outside during transportation or the like. SOLUTION: A part 96 to be restrained composed of a projecting post is disposed at an upper part of an optical pickup 34 for a DVR, a restraining part 97 composed of an abutting wall is also disposed at the lower surface of a tray 13. If the tray 13 is pulled in connection with an off-operation of a power switch and a base unit 30 is also elevated by a chucking slider 20, the part 96 to be restrained of the pickup 34 for a DVR is restrained by the restraining part 97 of the tray 13.
