PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of large size and high cost resulting from the mandatory use of a one rank higher or special output module for directly driving a heavy load demanding a current exceeding the maximum load current of a single output circuit. SOLUTION: A load current limiting circuit is provided in each of the output circuits and several output circuits are connected in parallel as required to meet the demand of a heavy load, and this enables direct connection and disconnection of the heavy load. In each output circuit, the limit of a load current is rendered to be variable and a switching circuit is provided. The design prevents the total output from exceeding the maximum common current and enables the hardware to recover safely to the previous state. |
