PURPOSE: A connecting structure for a fender and a hood of a vehicle is provided to prevent injury of a pedestrian and to absorb external shock. CONSTITUTION: A connecting structure for a fender(10) and a hood(18) of a vehicle has a buffer portion. An outside plate(12) of the fender is relatively high to have a transforming space to prevent injury of a pedestrian. An apron(14) is relatively low. The buffer portion is bent around a side of an outside panel(20) of the hood. Therein, a proper space between the buffer portion and an internal panel(22) is made. Consequently, the buffer portion absorbs shock when the vehicle collides with the pedestrian. And the transforming space reduces shock.
