PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly authenticate an art object and the like, and to make the art object become a target of reasonable assessment. SOLUTION: An authenticating label 3 incorporating an IC chip 2 is attached to a work 1. In the IC chip 2, an ID given by an authenticating organization 11 and a part of work information of the work 1 are recorded. The recorded contents can be read out by a reader 4 provided in an art gallery and the like, and can be verified by accessing to a data base 12 through the Internet 10. The data base 12 is established by the authenticating organization 11, and registers the work information according to the ID. |
