PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source control unit wherein power saving effect can be improved. SOLUTION: By controlling an oscillation control part 41 using a constant- voltage control part 42 and performing an intermittent oscillation operation, a switching operation by an FET 44 is performed intermittently in the course of the power saving mode of an apparatus.
