<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner image thermal fixing method and toner used for the thermal fixing method for providing a high-quality image over a long term and preventing a defective image associated with the soiling of a fixing device even after fixation of many sheets of various transfer materials without spoiling fixing performance and offset resistance performance. SOLUTION: In this toner image fixing method, a pressure roller is formed of a foamed body, its surface is formed of a mold-released layer whose surface roughness Rz is 0.05 to 4.0μm, and its hardness is 41 to 55 expressed by ASKER C. The melt viscosity of the toner measured by a flow tester is 1.0×10<3> to 1.0×10<6> Pa×S at any temperature within the temperature range of 110 to 140 deg.C.</p> |
