PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composition evaluation service. SOLUTION: A service user generates a trimming image by using the data of the whole image 31 received from a service provider's data center and transmits trimming information selected and determined on the terminal side from the terminal to the data center. A trimming range is selected by using a display frame 42 indicating a photographing range corresponding to a focal distance. A trimming position is set up by moving the display position of the display frame 42. When numbers are assigned to respective pixel data constituting the whole image 31, the trimming information includes information (1) indicating the upper left pixel number of an area surrounded by the frame 42, information (2) indicating vertical and horizontal framings and information (3) indicating the focal distance. A composition evaluating comment corresponding to the trimming information is previously stored in a server or the data center. The server transmits the composition evaluation comment corresponding to the trimming information transmitted from the service user to the user as a mail.
