PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device in which production cost is made low and a display image is made variable and to provide an image scroll unit which is to be mounted on the display main body. SOLUTION: An image scroll unit 3 has a film 35 on which a plurality of images for displaying is plotted in a longitudinal direction, a first roller 31a which winds up the film 35 to scroll the images downward, a second roller 32a which winds up the film 35 to scroll the images upward and a control circuit which controls the scrolling of the images. A display device 1 is constituted by mounting the unit 3 to a recessed section 2a formed on a wall surface 21 of a display device main body 2 and by illuminating the images plotted on the film 35 from the back surface by a light source 22 mounted onto a bottom section 2b of the section 2a.
