PURPOSE: Provided are a plant microbicidal composition having synergistic action, which comprises at least two active ingredient components, and a method for controlling and preventing the occurrence of fungi on plant. CONSTITUTION: The plant microbicidal composition comprises 0.1-99 wt% of at least two active ingredient components I and II, and 99-1 wt% of an inert carrier, wherein the component I is (IC) 5-(4-chlorobenzyl)-2,2-dimethyl-1-(1H-1,2,4-triazole-1- ylmethyl)-cyclopentanol("metconazole") or a salt or metal complex thereof, and the component II is (IIB) 4-cyclopropyl-6-methyl-N-phenyl-2-pyrimidinamine("cyprodinil") or a salt or metal complex thereof, wherein the weight ratio of the component I to the component II is in the range of about 1:10 to about 10:1.
