The feeler /transmitter pen has a central rod (3) which is supported by bearing/guides (10,11,12,13) of a pen shaped casing (2). The rod has a contact sphere (4) at the lower end and is attached to one of three linked marker transmitters (6,7,8) at the upper end. At rest, a spring (17) and plate (16) keep the immediately attached marker transmitter within the pen casing preventing transmission but in use the marker emerges triggering data transmission
