<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reproducible contents data from being infinitely copied. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a control storage part having an enciphering part for enciphering contents data captured from the outside, an enciphered data storage part for storing the contents data enciphered by the enciphering circuit and a deciphering circuit for deciphering the enciphered contents data, a reproducing part for reproducing the deciphered contents data, and a key data transmitting/receiving part for transmitting/receiving first key data to be used when enciphering the contents data for turning the enciphering function of the enciphering circuit into standby state and second key data to be used when deciphering the enciphered contents data for turning the deciphering function of the deciphering circuit into standby state only when the second key data are equal with the first key data.</p> |
