PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply structured packaging device which forms and surely pulls out a film wound in a roll, and wraps a product beautifully. SOLUTION: This packaging device is provided with a film forming device 12 for making it possible for a product to be inserted between a film 10 and a product carrying device 34 for carrying the product wrapped with the film 10. Furthermore, the packaging device is provided with a cantilever beam shaped supporting piece 21 provided between the forming device 12 and the carrying device 34 and inserted between the superimposed parts of the film end edge 10a of the tubular film 10, and an insertion piece 24 provided integrally from the tip end side toward the base end side of the support piece 21 having a predetermined gap 22 with the piece 21 and touching the inside of the film end edge 10a superimposed. On the film end edge 10a of the insertion piece 24, a follower roller 26 is positioned. A driving roller 28 in contact with the superimposed film end edge 10a for pulling out the film 10 is provided.
