PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film excellent in scratch resistance which can increase the viewing angle of a liquid crystal display device and particularly can prevent inversion of the contrast in the downward view angle of a panel and reflection of external light to a high level. SOLUTION: The antireflection film having at least one light diffusing layer on a transparent base material and further having at least one low refractive index layer thereon, is characterized in that the light diffusing layer has >=40% haze and the low refractive index layer is made of a hardened material of a thermosetting or ionization radiation curing type fluorine-containing resin. The film shows <=2.5% average mirror surface reflectance at a 5 degrees incident angle in the wavelength region from 450 nm to 650 nm. |
