PURPOSE: A time measuring method of an operation for an assembly line for a vehicle is provided to measure operating time of the assembly line by using a controller and a computer. CONSTITUTION: Starting time of assembling process for a vehicle is measured. A sensor is installed to an assembly-line(S11). The sensor transmits starting time to a controller(S12). A timer of the controller is operated. A program is performed to integrate operating time(S13). A signal is inputted to the controller to inform an operation is finished(S14). Data of measuring integrated time before inputting the signal is recorded to a memory. A specific memory is set to read recorded data of the memory by a measuring computer(S15). The signal of finishing the operation is checked through a network line. Operating time is read and stored to a database automatically. An analyzing computer analyzes operating time(S16). Thereby, reliability is improved and measuring time is reduced by measuring operating time automatically with the controller and the computer.
