The invention concerns a sludge extractor comprising a receptacle whereon are provided a suction connection designed for a suction member for extracting a sludge-containing fluid and a flow connection designed for a flow member for evacuating said sludge-containing fluid, and a motor for driving a suction device such that, in the receptacle, is generated a vacuum which maintains a suction relief valve of the flow member closed. Said sludge extractor is characterized in that the depression acting on the suction relief valve is lower than the pressure which the sludge-containing fluid exerts thereon when it has reached, in the receptacle, a predetermined filling level. |
