The construction comprises a door frame, a door leaf and horizontal runner rails. The door frame has vertical runners connected to it and has consoles in its upper region. The door leaf has articulated door leaf segments with side rollers which are guided along the vertical runners. The horizontal runner rails are pivotally connected to the consoles and comprise at least two movably connected parts. The rails are shorter than the door leaf height during transport of the construction and can be extended to the desired length once the construction has been assembled.
