<p>An electronic apparatus comprises a power source terminal and protection, power source control, and load circuits series connected one after another to the power source terminal. The protection circuit has an overcurrent protection device series-connected to the power source terminal and a short-circuiting circuit installed below the overcurrent protection device to short a power source supplied to the downstream. The overcurrent protection device consist of a resistive device such as a PTC thermistor, and the short-circuiting circuit a Zener diode or a series connection of the Zener diode and a resistor and a semiconductor switching device. The overcurrent protection device speeds up actions to an overcurrent by thermal coupling with the short-circuiting device.</p> |
