The invention relates to a method for controlling an accumulator charge pump (9) in an electrohydrualic braking system (1) of a vehicle. Said pump (9), which is used to fill a pressure accumulator, is activated when the pressure in the pressure accumulator (10) falls below a pre-determinable actuating threshold value. The actuating threshold value is adjusted in a variable manner during the operation, according to current state variables or operating variables of the vehicle.
