The invention concerns a method of treating icy road surfaces and a means of executing the method that comprises a container 2 arranged on a vehicle 1 in which a fine grain friction material is stored, a container 3 in which a fluid is stored and arranged in conjunction with the said containers 2, 3 openings 7, 8 from which the material and the fluid respectively can be applied. For executing the method is used a dry friction material of predetermined fraction that is emitted in a fluid applied in a predetermined amount, temperature and pressure to the road surface with the objective of increasing the adhesion of the said friction material to the road surface. |
