<p>The invention relates to a method for identification of a compound which modulates pre-adipocyte differentiation comprising testing whether the compound modulates the activity and/or amount of O/E-1 and/or O/E-2 and/or O/E-3. The invention also relates to use of a compound able to modulate the activity or amount of O/E-1 and/or O/E-2 and/or O/E-3 in preparation of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of atherosclerosis, dyslipidemia, IRS, and type 2 diabetes.</p> |
