<p>The foot control comprises a lower part (2) and an upper part (1), the upper part tiltable relative to the lower part. An electric switch (8) is provided on each side of the tilt axis on the lower part so that when the upper part is tilted about the axis it presses on one of the switches which makes a connection in electronic circuitry in the lower part. The switches, connections and other circuitry are built into a defined region of the lower part and this area is covered by a protective cap (10) of elastic material. As the upper part is tilted this deforms the cap such that the switch lying under it is actuated.</p> |
