The wheel grip sprayer for a motor vehicle has an adhesion increasing emulsion sprayed in front of the vehicles wheels on slippery road surfaces. The emulsion is made of a mixture of adhesive and granules of grit or plastic which is fed via a hose (4). There is an extruder nozzle (2) in the hose system to discharge the emulsion. The sprayer is controlled (3) depending on signals concerning wheel movement, vehicle movement and external temperature.
