Construction of ceilings with heat exchangers, especially cooling ceilings, comprises a ceiling support construction consisting of profile rails and connecting elements (10), ceiling elements, and a capillary tube register held by the ceiling support construction and consisting of collecting tubes connected by capillary tubes. The ceiling support construction is constructed first, then the capillary tube register is inserted from below into the ceiling construction through openings (26a, 26b) above the level of the under side of the profile rails. The capillary tube register is fixed in place and the ceiling elements are fixed from below on the profile rails. An Independent claim is also included for a cooling ceiling. Preferred Features: The collecting tubes are inserted in the openings between the front ends of the profile rails in the region of impact points.
