<p>It is intended to provide a process for producing a feed whereby the infection ratio with a recombinant virus in many silkworms can be elevated, and a method of orally inoculating many silkworms with a recombinant virus at the same time. A process for producing a feed whereby the infection ratio with a recombinant virus in silkworms can be elevated which comprises mixing a powdery synthetic feed with distilled water in which CHINOPERL UNPA-GX has been dissolved to give a final concentration of 0.2 to0.4% by weight, grinding the obtained mixture by stirring, packing it into a heat-tolerant polyethylene bag, and then heating it in an autoclave; and a method of orally inoculating many silkworms fed on a rearing bed at the same time characterized by comprising giving the feed produced by the above method to the silkworms in the fifth instar fed on the rearing bed and, after 20 to 24 hours, placing on the rearing bed a net having a feed coated with a solution of the recombinant virus loaded thereon to thereby give the recombinant virus-coated feed.</p> |
