Recovery of valuable products from protein- and fat-containing animal materials, especially of lecithin from dried egg, is such that the starting material containing lipids, phospholipids (lecithin) and proteins is supercritically extracted with a solvent to extract the lipids and aroma materials which are then extracted from the supercritical solvent by pressure reduction. |
