PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insertion and injection mechanism for simple medication and a transplant member, ensuring storage to a maximum so that degradation due to storage during processing or prior to use will not occur. SOLUTION: A device for injecting a controlled-release medical transplant member has a syringe-shaped injector body with a lumen, and a plunger. A needle is attached to the injector body and receives therein an injectable transplant member having an inner hollow part. The transplant member is held against the needle by friction, this friction being overcome by the plunger during release. When the plunger moves from a retreat position to a deployment position, medication previously inserted in the injector body is pushed into the hollow part of the transplant member and the transplant member is pushed to a living body outside the needle to insert the needle into the living body. The transplant member has a filler for absorbing the flowable medication in order to hold the medication therein. |
