PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting slip state of belt wrapper is provided to correct the slip state of the belt wrapper with strip by sensing the slip state generated when initially coiling strip stained with oil on tension reel in correction line, thereby adjusting tension of the belt. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for correcting slip state of belt wrapper comprises first pulse generator(5) for generating pulse signals for rotation of a belt wrapper roll(4); second pulse generator(6) for generating pulse signals for rotation of mandrel(11); a speed calculation part(7) for outputting the calculated rotation speed values as certain data respectively after calculating rotation speed of the belt wrapper roll and mandrel respectively by receiving pulse signals from the first and second pulse generators; a deviation calculation part(8) for calculating deviation between the rotation speed of the belt wrapper roll(4) and rotation speed of the mandrel calculated in the speed calculation part; a comparison part(9) for comparing the calculated deviation value with a reference value; and an operation part(11) for computing an adjustment value of tension adjusting cylinder by receiving the difference value in case that the deviation value is greater than the reference value as comparison results of the comparison part and adding up the difference value and a set value of an already set initial setting pressure.
