PURPOSE: A protection plate for a subterranean line is provided to prevent a bucket of an excavator from breaking down a subterranean line embedded underground, and also to prevent erosion and worn-out of the subterranean line by permeated water. CONSTITUTION: According to the protection plate(10) for subterranean line which is positioned between the subterranean line embedded underground and the ground and is arranged along the subterranean line, a plate(11) has a width wider than a diameter of the above subterranean line. And a number of projected parts(13) are prolonged at the edge of the above plate along a direction of crossing with a plane of the above plate. Rugged part(21,22,23,25) are formed on the whole surface of the top and the bottom of the plate.
