PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and easily detect and protect a single operation of an independent generation facility in the linkage of systems at an independent generation facility side, without installing an expensive transfer block device. SOLUTION: The protector is provided with an inverter 24, a frequency detection means 41 that detects an output frequency of the inverter of the independent generation facility that is linkage-connected to an AC power system via a blocker 12, a frequency change-rate detection means 42 that detects the rate of change of the frequency, a change-rate excessiveness determination means 43 that detects the change of the frequency based on the rate of change of the frequency, power-decrease setting means 47, 48 that decrease the output power of the inverter, and protective means 44, 45 and 13 that detect the change of the frequency fostered associated with the decrease of the output power of the inverter and make the inverter parallel off from the AC power system by releasing the blocker 12.
