PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information signal recording method capable of eliminating correlation between adjacent tracks by using a scramble signal generated from a cyclic code in which a value obtained on the basis of an address value of each sector is used as an initial value. SOLUTION: In the information signal recording method for scrambling an information signal S3 with the scramble signal S2 in recording the information signal S3 on an information recording medium 5 having circular information tracks, a signal generated from the cyclic code in which a value obtained on the basis of an address value of each sector is used as an initial value is used as the scramble signal. Thus, correlation between adjacent tracks is eliminated and stable tracking control is made to be possible.
