PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk loading device in which time required to replace a tray at a play-back position is reduced by simplifying the operation mechanism and control mechanism of the tray. SOLUTION: The disk loading device is provided with first and second trays movable between the attachment and detachment position of a disk and the play-back position. The disk loading device is further provided with each gear which gears with the tooth part of a cam gear outer peripheral part and a rack of each tray, i.e. a first gear to drive the first tray between the attachment and detachment position and a storing position, a second gear to drive the first tray between the storing position and the play-back position, a third gear to drive the second tray between the attachment and detachment position and the storing position and a fourth gear to drive the second tray between the storing position and the play-back position. When transferring the first tray from the play-back position to the storing position and transferring the second tray from the storing position to the play-back position, and when transferring the first tray from the storing position to the play-back position and transferring the second tray from the play-back position to the storing position, the second gear and the fourth gear with the tooth part without facing the toothless part of the cam gear.
