AUTHENTICATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable authenticating system capable of using a plurality of services. SOLUTION: Member ID 23 with respective plural cooperators and a cooperator authenticating key 30 are stored in an IC card 3, and INDEX data 22 is arranged for storing information for indicating a storage place for storing the respective ones with respective cooperators. A condition is set for permitting to respectively make access to data of the IC card 3. The INDEX data 22 can be freely referred from the respective cooperators, and the member ID 23 with respective cooperators can be referred only by using an authenticating key equal to the corresponding cooperator authenticating key 30.
