PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a flexible printed circuit board and to reduce the size of a display device as a whole. SOLUTION: A display substrate SUB1 on which a plurality of pixels is arranged has a gate driver GDR which is mounted on the substrate SUB1, a drain driver DDR which incorporates a controller CLR and a power supply PWU which is mounted on a flexible printed circuit board FPC and supplies a power supply voltage to the driver GDR. Wiring of common control signals that are outputted from the controller CLR and commonly used to control the driver GDR and the power supply PWU is formed on the substrate SUB1, the signals are inputted to the driver GDR and the number of pads which are used to connect the substrate SUB1 and the board FPC is reduced.
