PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system which replays the same piece by switching to a source when the same piece with higher sound quality than the piece currently being on air exists in other sources which a user possesses when listening in on the piece being on air on a digital radio. SOLUTION: When the user is listening in on a piece with a title A and a name Z of artist on the digital radio as a desired source, in the audio system, first, broadcast from a digital radio broadcasting station is received, and then a control section 30 analyzes additional information included in the broadcast and recognizes the title and the name of the artist of the piece. The piece of which the title and the name of the artist coincide with the recognized title and name is retrieved among a radio receiver 13, a CD player 14, an MD player 15, and an MP3 player 16. When a corresponding piece exists, for instance, when the piece with the same title A and name Z of artist as the piece being on air exists in the CD player 14, switching of the source is performed on the basis of order of priority of sources in accordance with the sound quality stored in a memory 26.
