PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize frequency of use of a plurality of power amplifiers adopting an amplitude modulation system employing digital modulation control. SOLUTION: The transmitter is provided with a plurality of amplifiers, a cyclic instruction signal generating section for outputting a cyclic instruction signal whose value changes in a prescribed timing, an encoder for selecting number of the amplifiers on the basis of a magnification instruction signal among a plurality of the amplifiers according to the value of the cyclic instruction signal, and a synthesis section for outputting a signal being the sum of signals outputted from the amplifiers selected by the encoder as an output signal of the amplifier device of this invention.
