PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a small-sized thin type common array antenna for polarized waves, which can operate for two linearly-polarized waves which are orthogonal to each other, without using polarized-wave switching means operated by a mechanical rotating mechanism. SOLUTION: In the array antenna, used in common with polarized waves, there is connected with an end of each radiation element from the same direction as the polarization direction of a first linearly-polarized wave, each reflection-phase adjusting line for correcting each propagation path difference of the first linearly-polarized wave, fed spatially to each radiating element via a primary radiator and via a reflection mirror, as to radiate again the first linearly-polarized wave from each radiating element, after the adjustment of each desired phase. With respect to a second linearly-polarized wave, however, each radiating element is so excited from its rear surface, by each feeding circuit for an orthogonally-polarized wave to the first linearly-polarized wave, via each coupling slot for exciting the orthogonally-polarized wave, to radiate from it the second linearly-polarized wave.
