<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice synthesizing device which shortens a voice output time when outputting the contents of a plurality of pieces of document data as a synthesized voice and can grasp detailed contents of the document data without any complicated operation. SOLUTION: The voice synthesizing device 3 of a telephone set 1 is operable to display the whole text of document data requested by user among pieces of document data stored in a document storage part 13 on a display device 19 and also outputs its summary as a synthesized voice. This voice synthesizing device enables the user to know roughly contents of pieces of document data in a short time through the synthesized voice and grasp the detailed contents of the document data without any troublesome selecting operation. Consequently, the trouble that the user takes to confirm the contents of a large amount of document data is reduced and the efficiency of confirming operation for document data is improved.</p> |
