PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subject authenticating system capable of executing subject authenticating processing using data much in a data quantity such as image data in a short time. SOLUTION: A transceiver 120 transmits subject authenticating data received from a user terminal 20 and buffer information for indicating an empty state of a communication buffer 121 of one's own device to a corresponding authenticating device 110. The authenticating device 110 reads out and checks up genuine authenticating data from a database 140 via a control device 150, and authenticates the subject. The control device 150 forms a transfer command so that the empty state of the communication buffer becomes uniform between transceivers on the basis of the buffer information sent from a plurality of transceivers 120, and transmits the command to a corresponding distributor 130. The distributor 130 transfers the subject authenticating data arriving via the Internet 10 to the other transceiver according to the transfer command from the control device 150.
