PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric filter, which has a sharp attenuation characteristics near a certain frequency band (1) and is reduced in number of cavity-partitioning parts and cost (2). SOLUTION: An input/output probe is set proximate to a coupling window, so as to couple input/output signals with an adjoining cavity (1). A cavity partition between the adjoining cavities, joined together, is formed of a single metal plate (2). Furthermore, the coupling window is formed of a gap between a cavity partition, coming into contact with the side wall of one of the adjoining cavities and the opposed partition.
