PURPOSE: A book binding paper and a method for making the same are provided to make the insertion of a book binding pin easy and make the contours of paper sheets bound by the book binding pin consistent with each other. CONSTITUTION: A punching jig for cutting is coupled to a side face of a typical paper cutter. By the punching jig for cutting, an open cutting groove(21a) is formed at a predetermined position of a standardized paper(20) when cutting the standardized paper(20). By this method, a pair of cutting grooves(21a) are formed at a predetermined, standardized interval on the standardized paper(20) having width and length of standard size.
