PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) and a method for power control capable of reducing power consumption of a system in the PDA having a telephone module. SOLUTION: In a PDA 1 having a telephone module 9 to perform telephone communication, when an instruction for power supplying to the telephone module 9, it is determined whether the power supplying is only to the telephone module 9 or not, if only to the telephone module 9, the power supplying is performed temporarily to the whole of the system except a display controller 11 and a display 2. After the telephone module 9 becomes available, the power supplying to the system is broken. |
