A pharmaceutical composition (A) comprises a capsule having an anhydrous interior and an outer shell which is chemically or enzymatically degradable in the colon, and contains (in physically separate form): (a) active agent(s) (I) and optionally excipient(s), coated with polysaccharide(s) having carboxy functions; and (b) polyvalent cation(s) (II) and optionally excipient(s).
