Stroke sensor (E) is integrated in a pneumatic brake booster (4) and comprises a casing (6) delimited by two rigid front walls (6a, 6b). The internal volume of the casing is separated into two chambers (4a, 4b) by a mobile partition (7) along the casing axis. The sensor comprises capacitors that respond in a contact-free manner to variation of the separation between the partition and either of the casing walls. The invention also relates to a corresponding brake booster and a motor vehicle braking system.
