PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely register a parameter for illegal access prevention by surely preventing the illegal access of a third person utilizing a radio terminal in a wireless repeater for repeating data communication between the radio terminal and another communication device connected to a transmission line. SOLUTION: A wireless cable MODEM 20 connected to a transmission line 6 of the two-way CATV system repeats the data communication between respective radio terminals 12-16 and a center device 2 by performing wireless communication with the radio terminals 12-16 of subscribers. The wireless cable MODEM 20 can register a MAC address from the side of the radio terminal during no connection to the transmission line 6, and when a connection is performed to the transmission line 6, access from the radio terminal which does not register the MAC address is refused. Besides, while no MAC address of the radio terminal is registered, access from all the radio terminals is refused. |
