PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a rate of occurrence of magnetic information writing errors when a magnetic card comes into between a magnetic head for reading and a platen. SOLUTION: A ticket issuing machine 1 is provided with a magnetic head 10 for writing for writing magnetic information on a magnetic stripe part of a magnetic card 2 and the magnetic head 11 for reading for reading magnetic information written on the magnetic strip part of the magnetic card 2, and a space between the magnetic head 10 for writing and the magnetic head 11 for reading is set to 55 mm. The space is equal to a distance between a side end part of the magnetic card 2 and a perforated line that is not a magnetic recording area, and when the side end part of the magnetic card 2 arrives at the magnetic head 11 for reading, the perforated line faces the magnetic head 10 for writing. |
