PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily read the whole contents of an publication patent journal of each application when collectively investigating whether the examination claims of patents applied in a certain past period are required or not. SOLUTION: A summary of an application and a button in which the publication number of the application is padded are arranged in an electronic document generated in each application and allowed to be circulated to respective workers (development section evaluators, persons in charge of intellectual property section, etc.), in a work flow to sequentially write evaluation in it. When the button is clicked, the publication number is outputted to a retrieval module in a patent journal data base. The whole contents of the journal specified by the publication number are extracted from the data base and displayed on a display.
